30 mph signs (June 2010)

30mphsign The village club reporter made a Freedom From Excess Signage (FFES) request to the Vale Council.  A council spokesman said "The roads within the village are subject to a 30 mph speed restriction traffic regulation ... and as the roads are, in the main, not subject to a system of street lighting, and to comply with the regulations, repeater signs must be displayed throughout the restriction."
Translated, that means that the little 30 mph signs are here to stay.
