The bake was held on the weekend of Valentine’s Day to raise money to purchase replacement paediatric defibrillator pads. Cakes and biscuits, made by Caroline Neudegg, Liz Loch, Monica Dennis and Gill Harris were snapped up by villagers either visiting the telephone box or requesting delivery.
£355 was raised which covered the cost of the pads and more – including some new/top-up training and money for maintenance of the box.
